Inspiron 9400 battery seems dead
The battery started to lose autonomy few weeks ago.
Then the battery light started to flash.
Now the battery looks completely dead - Windows tells it is absent.
The Dell Inspiron 9400 is only 22 month old with light use on battery.

Inappropriate?Do you use the battery correctly ? such as New batteries are shipped in a discharged condition and must be charged before use. recommend an overnight charge (approximately twelve hours). Try to avoid frequent full discharging of the battery, If you don't plan on using the replacement dell battery for a month or more, recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
