M1330 extremely slow charge and battery light oddity
Since a month, I noticed my M1330 battery charges extremely slowly, i.e. it takes up to 2 days to go from 0 to 100%!!
The battery is reported to work correctly and to be in good health.
Some strange symptoms: as soon as the power adapter is connected, the battery light turns on (solid blue) only for a few seconds and then turns off. On the other hand, when the charge is approaching completion, the battery light flashes, as it is supposed to do (as I read on the owner's manual).
I also tried with another Dell power adapter and nothing changes, so I fear it's something related to the motherboard (that was replaced for the nvidia issue at the end of november 2008). As for BIOS, it's version A15.
Unfortunately my warranty expired 2 months ago... :(

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem after my mother board was recently replaced for the second time. The first time was for the NVidia issue and the second time was because the laptop couldn't see the power adapter.
BIOS:A14, OS:Vista Home Premium. I have tried another power adapter.
You can use the "Reliability and Performance Monitor" that comes with Vista to see if the battery is charging (Start, Run, perfmon, ok and add the battery status counters). Fortunately I was sold a 4 year warranty; I'm sure I'm going to be replacing the mother board many more times!
