Inappropriate?I love my M1730 too, when it's working! I got my machine as a system exchange. It's less than 6 months old and died without a warranty. I had to buy a refurbished/pulled motherboard off of e-bay and fix it myself.
Even the prettiest, most powerful machine doesn't mean a thing when it just won't turn on.
Good luck with your machine. I hope mine survives without too much hassle.

I'm currently using Windws 7 RC 7100 x64.
Video driver is from laptopvideo2go.
Everything works great.
Except touchpad's driver which doesn't seem to detect the touchpad. -
