My Laptop Seems to Be Heating up Rapidly....
ok, So my inspiron 1420 is heating up very rapidly. what do i do? it feels like a heater. and actually starts to burn if i touch it for too long.... so what goes on here?? my laptop is still under warranty but as with the same problem before, I have class all day usually from 8am to 6pm and then work. so how do i get it fixed?? i need my laptop for class so sending it to dell and waiting 3 -4 weeks is not an option. what are my other options???

Inappropriate?Try using compressed air (that comes in spray cans at the supermarket) to blow away dust that gets collected on the fans. I did the same with mine and it seems to run a bit cooler now. No need to open up the laptop as you can use the can through the grills to dislodge the dust that gets collected on the fan blades.
