OLD server model have discontinued parts?
I running an several old DELL server, one model is Power Edge 2300, but when the SCSI harddrive is faulty, is so hard to find a replacement! any solution?

You should be able use any 68pin or 80pin (depending on your configuration) SCSI drive. I believe the largest we sold for that system was 36gb. -

Thanks for the reply. At first I think any SCSI HD will do, but after searching for it, every SCSI i could find have a different SCSI+power port while the one from PowerEdge 2300 only have one centered SCSI port. It was quite hard to find here in Indonesia. Do you think if I contact Dell supplier here, they can help?
FYI, our new server PowerEdge 2900 will be coming in next few weeks. -
Inappropriate?It sounds like you have the hot-plug backplane, so you will need an 80-pin scsi drive. The 2300 is a pretty old server but your Dell supplier may have some in stock. I think you will be very pleased with the new 2900.
