Unusable XPS 630i
My XPS 630i started acting finicky again lately.!!!! I Yesterday I decided to do a (clean install?) of XP Pro with my Dell reinstall disc (3rd time's a charm, right?). I've had this lemon since last September. Anyway after saving my data to cd's & crossing my fingers I got a successful install of XP without ethernet, sound device, and without the ability to write dvds, which I haven't been able to do from day one. I canned my driver cd because, it blue screened my computer constantly. Last January a Dell technician changed out the hard drive, 4 GB's of memory, the video card, and the motherboard. I contacted Dell yesterday, and got "disconnected" again. I did not get a call back, even though I left two contact phone numbers. I'm in a catch 22 situation, I cannot connect to the internet to download drivers! Please help!
