Interesting issue. What system model do you have? Is it less than a year old? Does the battery hold a charge for at least 2 hours, regardless of the LED oddity? -

Inappropriate?Ahhh. OK. Well, the only thing you can do to resolve this, short of buying a new battery, that I know of is to flash your BIOS to the most recent version. Battery prices industry wide are up as an after effect of the recent fire at LG Chem in Korea. Here's the link to the BIOS download.
