Is there a way for documents to become part of a template? I would like to create a Creative Brief document and store it in the template so I don't have to recreate it every time.
Hello - When we try and create additional task lists in our projects, they are no longer viewable after exiting out of the project and then coming back in. I am hearing though that they still appear on the Dashboard. Could someone help us with this?
Thanks!
Hello, we have a big problem adding tasks. When we are add a Task list and its tasks we loose every thing, wue can see the task in the dashboard but we can't edit o see it in the task list project.
Does Internet Explorer 7 work with Deskaway? My company doesn't support Firefox and I am getting errors with IE7. From what I have read in a few other posts it appears the IE 6 & 7 are prone to AJAX timeout errors. I may be able to get Internet Explorer 8 soon, but I am not sure if it will work either. I love this application and want to implement it's usage here at work but need to get past this hurdle before the IT group will allow it.
I don't get the e-mail notification when task is complet. This happens when I pass a task to another team member. Many times I get the task so I can assign it to the team member, in that case I can't put myself whith copy but I don't recive the e-mail notification when the task i completed.
we ́re working with DeskA from Spain. As you know there ́re some special characters on Spanish languagge (Ex. "ñ", " ́"). Some items of DeskA don ́t accept it (Ex. names and description in tasks) and show irregular characters instead them. It would be possible you solve this issue?
Would it be possible to add an option where the email that is sent whenever a message is added to a project could contain the entire message instead of just a link to the message?
Some tasks require multiple assignments. There are two reasons for this. One is that the task requires two people to complete it. Another is that the same task must be performed by more than one person, and it would be nice to show this as one task with four different checkmarks. For example, the project is recruitement. The team consists of four people, each of whom has to read each application. So an example of a task is "Review John Smith Application." You want to see who has done it, and who has not yet done it, all in one place.
Did a search but did not see this brought up. Have you considered adding the functionality that allows a user to respond directly via email to a system notification of a message and the contents of that email are then entered into DeskAway as a message comment? They rolled this out with Basecamp in April and it's awesome. Thoughts?
Is it possible to "date stamp" a task when it is marked as complete? For example, today my boss asked me "when was that inspection completed?" Looking at Deskaway, I could tell that it HAD been completed, but couldn't tell him the date we marked it off. Is there already a way to do this? If not, I'd like to add this as a feature request.
We're having a problem with the way DeskAway changes the file name of files that are uploaded. When we upload a file that has spaces in the name, DeskAway files it with dashes instead of spaces. Also, words in the file name that are capitalized are converted to lowercase. Is there any way to change this behavior and have our filenames left intact instead of being altered? Thanks!
Is there any way to "fine tune" permissions for Regular Users? We would like to allow one of our supervisors the ability to delete other user's uploaded files - but don't want him to be able to create or alter milestones and projects.
As the manager, I would like to have the option of showing the activity on all the projects on the dashboard. I would especially like to see all the items that are approaching or late.
The BaseCamp does this but their implementation is a bit overwhelming when there are many open projects.
If you use this company's products or services, we'll add the company to your dashboard. If you work for this company, we'll add you as an employee. Got it, thanks!
