Feature Request: Post comments to a message via email
Did a search but did not see this brought up. Have you considered adding the functionality that allows a user to respond directly via email to a system notification of a message and the contents of that email are then entered into DeskAway as a message comment? They rolled this out with Basecamp in April and it's awesome. Thoughts?

Is there any added features (within this email feature) etc. that you want us to consider that would simplify collaboration even more?

The ability to attach documents to these emails would be great as well (and the docs would be automatically uploaded to the system).

I would love to add some sort of approval function based on email. Maybe with options like Approve, Approve with Comments, Reject, and Reject with Comments. -
Inappropriate?Yes, file attachments will be extracted from the email and uploaded to the file section of your DeskAway account. We are currently in very early stage planning. When I have a better idea of the time line I will surely post it here. Thank you for your patience.

Inappropriate?We would also love email functionality... especially for Issues! If Team members could email a deskaway.com address to add Issues to a Project, life would be bliss.
If in the body of the email text, the system could parse for [Project][Issue][Team member][summary of issue] and use this to assign a new issue on a specific project to a team member... well I might just wet myself

Inappropriate?Yes, email integration with tasks, issues and messages is the next thing we are working on. Currently, in early stage development.
It got delayed a bit but it is very very high on our priority list now. Our internal goal is to release it before March 31, 2009.
