How do I set-up email notifications to alert only the department involved?
I would like to set-up a project such that the whole organisation can have access to the project (view the details and files of the project), but only the department directly involved gets email notifications for the activity within.
I don't want the other members to get flooded with emails of whenever the team does something, but I want them to be able to update themselves on the project. Sort of like a read-only project? Is that possible?

Inappropriate?Currently, you cannot restrict emails only to departments. Either you have emails off for everyone (this is a silent project) or have emails notifications on. You can toggle between these options by editing a project.

Inappropriate?hmm i see. Is the company planning to fine-tune this aspect? I'm really happy with the product, it's pretty fantastic in all other areas.
But the reason why I'm asking is my organisation wants to improve on transparency within the organisation, and we want to allow everyone access to most projects. However we don't want them to get bombarded by emails whenever some activity occurs.
I know you guys have already given us that option with the silent project, and I think it's a good implementation. but are there any plans to streamline it a bit more? (:
