Inappropriate?We might come up with the concept of 'tags' so that a task can have multiple tags as categories. The challenge is to make sure this does not get messy when every users starts adding his/her own tags.

Inappropriate?Yes, but I've used categories to cover the types of project they are e.g. new order, development work versus config work etc. I would need to add client to this as well.

Inappropriate?In addition to the benefit of assigning 1 task to multiple categories, I suspect there are easy changes to allow users to launch strategic goals and use the system to track progress.
