Would you like automatic email reminders from DeskAway?
We are thinking of having automatic email reminders of your project stuff. What kind of analytics you would like to have emailed to you weekly or daily? Some things discussed are - projects, milestones, tasks, issues that are overdue, upcoming, latest files added in the last week, number of hours used within a project etc.

Inappropriate?For me, events and tasks due by overdue, today, and next 7 days, are the most important. -
Inappropriate?Cool. We are going "limited" live in the next few days with this. You can choose to have the Personal Reminder emailed to you in the morning, noon, evening or night. The reminder will have:
a. today & overdue &
b. approaching (7 days) projects, milestones, tasks and issues.

I'm hoping there is a way to enable/disable this feature, in addition to selecting when you want to have the reminder emailed to you. I am in the process of reviewing this tool for use in my organization. We are in email overload, and one reason we are implementing it is to try to reduce email. . for my organization, I think the correct approach is to understanding tasks and overdue items is to encourage the staff to logon daily and use the dashboard. -
Inappropriate?Yes of course! Each individual user in the team will be allowed to enable or disable this feature from their DeskAway account.
What you say is correct for some organizations like yours. Though, I have come across people who like to use the "push" method rather than the "pull" - where they like things to be emailed to them.
What we believe is that email should be used for notifications but the knowledge/assets should be stored elsewhere.
