We have a new version of the BlackBerry app coming out today, so once that is available I will be sure to shoot you over a download think. This new app should fix the problem you are experiencing, but if it doesn't - The app now has better problem reporting so we can find out what is up and fix it!

In the last two weeks we released multiple versions of the BlackBerry app to ensure that we had solved the majority of the problems users were experiencing. The version currently available should include a fix for your step 3 problem -

What Dexrex app version are you running? We have one for the storm and one for all other Blackberrys at www.dexrex.com/mobile/blackberry. Also, are you given the option to send a problem/error report? If you are please send one over. These reports go a long way to help us fix issues.

I am running Dexrex v3.0.13 (Download for Blackberry OS v4.2.1+) for my Blackberry 8310 OS 4.5.0.110 (152). I already tried sending an error report, but it hangs to the point where I have to do a battery pull. If I am the only case with this problem then it might be my phone. I am just really anxious to use this, but for something that is free I am very appreciative to even have you respond. Thank You!

We have received a couple other reports of this happening and the developers are on the job. I apologize for not responding sooner, I only just got the notice last night! When a new version is available I will be sure to post it here and let you know. Thank you for your phone information as well. That will go a long way in helping us fix the issue. -
Inappropriate?Could this problem have anything to do with email not being setup on the Blackberry. I am having same Step 3 problem. I have 2 phones bought at same time with identical software, etc. I have email setup on one phone (Curve 8330, O.S. 4.3) I downloaded Derex and had no problem. On other phone, I'm stuck on step 3. I forgot the email password and have to call Tec Support to get it straight because although device says "password successfully sent to your device" I get no password. Anyway, the email screwup is only difference I see so I'm wondering if matters.

Inappropriate?Whoaa, thanks for the find! That scenario never got into my test cases. Glad you guys got it figured out :) I will get a fix for this bug rolled into the next version.
