Small Feature Suggestions
I'm finding Diary.com really easy and convenient to use and I don't want it destroyed by superfluous features, but there are a couple of extra things which would be nice...please can we:
- submit entries by email and SMS
- resizeable box to write slightly bigger entries

Inappropriate?Bit of simple styling would be nice too...you know, Bold & bullet points, again nothing too over the top.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Glad you're liking the site! We're working on submitting entries by email at the moment and we're looking into the design of the entry box with the possibility of some simple formatting and resizing. SMS will probably come a bit later. Keep an eye on our blog for new feature announcements.

Inappropriate?Just thought I'd let you know the Email to Diary functionality is now live. Let us know how it goes.

Inappropriate?Hey Richard, it appears to exist, but doesn't work, unless I am doing something wrong. Have emailed several times now and none of them have appeared in my diary. Is also not clear what will happen to email subject/body.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hi Alex,
Thanks for letting me know. This turned out to be a bug and there were a couple of days worth of emails queued up. Your test emails should now be in your Diary and any further emails should appear within 2 minutes.
At the moment only the attachment and the subject of the email are used. The subject becomes the title for the attachment or you can just type a text entry using the subject field.

Inappropriate?Ok, email is working, but not very useful. I want to be able to BCC the odd email sent in daily life to my diary as some kind of record of special moments/events. I realise this goes against the idea of short snappy posts. I see it more useful as a scrapbook. I certainly don't have the discipline or energy to keep a handwritten diary everyday, but I do have the time to jot down the odd thought.

Inappropriate?I see I can send via email, but only if I use the subject line as the text that will appear in my diary. That doesn't make sense. I should be able to use the message area in my email! The subject line is too limited
