Something that I've grown to dislike recently is the popup "you diddit" messages every time I tick something off. It didn't annoy me at first, but when I'm going through a long list with lots of diddits, they kind of get in the way
Sometimes, I'm in the mood to tick off some thumbs ups or downs or write a little about them but not all the time. Also, I'm never really interested in posting them to my facebook wall as I don't like to subject my friends to that sort of spam (which they probably don't care about anyway)
I don't really know how it can be improved except maybe being able to disable them as an option somewhere? Or maybe if there was a third option to wanna and diddit (like "diddit and share" or something).

We use pop-ups because they make it easy to tell a story and respond to comments, however, I understand if you are trying to check off a lot of things and don't want to leave a story they can interfere with quick didditing.
I'd like to hear what everyone thinks about the use of pop-ups on the site and hope this can become a spot for conversation on the topic. -

Hey Hammond,
Adding a third state (diddit and share) to the diddit button is an interesting solution. -
