Let me subscribe to my favorite lists and be notified when they are updated
I'd like to be able to subscribe to certain lists and know when additions are made to them.

Happy to let you know that this is possible, but the set up is currently a little tricky and requires an RSS reader such as Google Reader or My Yahoo. Every list on Diddit has its own RSS feed. You can find the orange RSS icon in the upper-right side of the page. Click on this and you will be able to "subscribe" to the list via an external RSS reader.
There may be ways of us making this feature more apparent and easier to use on site. If we get enough requests for this feature here we may come up with ways to allow you subscribe to lists on our site. :)

Amy,
Thanks for adding your comment to this idea. I think this is something that we can do -- we just need to figure out where to put the feature and when we can implement it.

I don't have a favorite list. But if a list has added a lot of new activities since I last checked, it would be nice to be somehow notified, perhaps under "Recommendations Just For You" on the "Home" page.

Kamineko -- Thanks for adding your comment about list subscriptions. I like the idea of having a spot where you can see when there were additions to lists you already checked off. -
