Can Dipity export timelines?

If I put a lot of effort into a Dipity timeline, I'd like to be able to export that to text or xml or something so that I can transfer it to another application if Dipity goes under. Is that possible?

Missed this in your original post. We do have plans to integrate an importer and an exporter in to the product. We currently support this at the API level. The APIs are working now, so near term if you can't wait for us to add the feature you could create your own exporter.

As for exporting we can go a couple different ways here. Being able to export a comma separated file, enhanced rss feed etc.

When you were thinking of this feature what format were you envisioning?

An image output would be GREAT, say PNG. A wide image: enough zoom so ALL the events are visible and then a snapshot.
