dipity changing event dates?
i entered an event for the year 450. when dipity added the event to my timeline, suddenly it has a year of 449. while its not a major issue as the date is only an approximate anyway it still makes me wonder why this has occurred and so i thought i should let you know that it has occurred.
timeline in question is http://www.dipity.com/user/darthranma...

Inappropriate?this problem is contining to appear. 440 has become 439 and 450 has become 449. when i edited the event for the year 349 to add a link to the event, upon saving the event i noticed that the date had again changed, this time the year 348... is this a bug with the ancient dates or is there something else going on?... in order to avoid this problem i have taken to adding an additional date to the year knowing that a year will be subtracted when i save the event. thus, in order to reach year 350 i enter it as year 351. its kind of silly, but it works.

Inappropriate?I've noticed this same problem every time I edit my posts the year goes back a year. This is extremely annoying. I'm working on a time line for class and obviously I would be docked points for inaccurate dates.
-
Inappropriate? This problem only occurs with dates before and including 1582. 1583 remains the same, but 1582 becomes 1581 and so on.

The company says
this solves the problem

Nope, it doesn't appear to be fixed. -
Inappropriate?it saddens me to report that this problem continues. i created a date of 400 ad and received a date of 399 ad...
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I have this problem too and it is annoying. I have to keep revising my dates just in case they are wrong,
I’m distracted by this

Inappropriate?okay, so my date of 170 doesn't change, but the date of 423 will change to 422... the bug continues...
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?its been two weeks since your "new release that fixes this problem. " so i just wanted to remind you that the problem is not fixed.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? It seems for me to be 9 days out in 1485- I want to make a Tudor timeline and I have to enter 22nd August 1485 as 31st August 1485 for the correct (former) date to display!

Inappropriate? This is still happening to me too as of today (Sept 11, 2008). Dates prior to 111 cannot be entered at all (110 changes to 2010, and so forth). Years from 111-300 work fine. Entering 301-1582 results in 1 being subtracted. And 1583 to the present all seem to be fine.
I’m frustrated

This is happening to me with more recent dates in my personal chronology. A date range of May 12-16, 2008 was changed to May 13. The descriptive date Summer 2008 was changed to Nov. 1, 2007.
