Updating frequency of time line from EditGrid xml
How often do you update a timeline from an xml feed? Updates to my xml-feed doesn't seem to pull through to my timeline at dipity.com/wikitaaldebat/die-verloop-van-die-taaldebat.
At http://wikitaaldebat.pbworks.com/tydlyn I'm using an EditGrid embed to have users add events, which is then put through an xml stylesheet and should display on an embedded Dipity timeline on the homepage http://wikitaaldebat.pbworks.com
XML is at http://www.editgrid.com/user/piet_le_...

Inappropriate?and sometimes, when I refresh my page where I embedded the timeline, previous event edits do not reflect anymore. For example: I changed the "DIpity Timeline created" event and renamed it as a test event. But sometimes when the page is refreshed, the initial title reappears.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Hi Piet le Roux,
I'll respond to both issues in this reply.
Updating: Typically each topic should update at least daily. We have had sporadic updating issues (you can search GetSatisfaction to see posts / responses). When this happens it could be a couple days for things to get caught back up to date.
Things Disappearing: This is typically a 'cache' issue. There are may ways in which we cache data and while we make every effort to keep these things in sync sometimes they get out of sync. Typically the data is still there, it's just not showing up.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Derek,
When you say:

... could you please clarify the part "Typically the data is still there, it's just not showing up."?
The reason I ask, I've entered several Events in my Timeline, however, the last few entries do not appear in the Timeline view. They only appear in the FlipBook view.
I've cleared my own cache, and attempted to view it in Firefox and IE, to no avail.
My latest entries do not appear on the Timeline, no matter what timeframe I specify on it. They seem "lost" in some Dipity chasm.
I’m Confused
