Facebook Connect issues.
Just to clarify, when you enable Facebook Friend Connect on your blog, for people to use it, do they also need to set-up a Disqus comments account?
I followed the instructions and successfully installed it on my blog (hosted on Squarespace). When I tried to post using FB FC, it bizarrely returns a 'null' value for my id, and it can't access my FB avatar, but it does provide a link to my FB profile. However, it also directed me to set-up a Disqus comments profile. I'm assuming that this behaviour isn't what is supposed to happen, but I'm struggling to fix it.
This is partly because I've subsequently linked my FB profile to my Disqus comments profile, and then it simply uses the avatar/ profile info for my Disqus profile, when I signed in via the FB connect button. That's fine - however, Disqus still doesn't seem to be able to post comments to my FB news stream.
There doesn't seem to be a way at the Disqus end, to 'unlink' my Facebook profile from my Disqus comments account (even if I toggle the post comments to FB setting on/off), so now I'm not sure how to test whether FB Connect is working on my site for new visitors - who don't have a Disqus profile.
Any help much appreciated!

Inappropriate? On your first question, you don't need to setup a Disqus profile - you can just login with your Facebook account - that's the entire point of this.
I'm having this same problem. I have two sites with the wordpress plugin and Facebook Connect works for one site but not the other - gives me null as the ID and no avatar. I don't think it has anything to do with linking accounts though.
I’m wanting to get this fixed

Inappropriate?Hello
same problem here.
profil name is displayed "null", the post button says "Comment as a guest".
Once a comment posted, the name beside the comment is something like : "facebook-#####" where ##### is the correct facebook profile id.
So the link is correct, but none the name, nor the picture seems to load correctly. Too bad.
Also, when allowing the application to post on my facebook profile I had an alert() saying "Bad Request".
Is that normal I get a popup when logging using my facebook account whereas I get a nice lightbox when logging usiing my Disqus account ?
Thanx in advance for your help.
I’m working
