Option to set email subscriptions to OFF please

Please give option for Guest post email subscriptions to default to OFF. Currently it defaults to on and is easily overlooked and AFIAK I can't change that behaviour. What I don't want happening is the user to miss this then assume we're spamming them when the follow-up emails start arriving.
