Wordpress comment import timing out
Using the wordpress plugin on 2.8.4 and I am unable to import my previous comments into disqus. It loads for about 20 seconds then stops at a blank white screen. I believe php execution is timing out on the upload due to the size of the comments import. Is there any other way to have our comments imported into our disqus account? we would really like to use disqus but can't afford to lose our old comments.

Inappropriate?Seem to be having the same exact problem!
Trying to use Disqus on Wordpress 2.8.4. When I click "Import" it sits loading for a bit and then turns to a blank page. Nothing I've done seems to work to get the comments to import.

Inappropriate?I found an unpublished page on disqus that did the trick. http://import.disqus.com using this you can export your wordpress backup files (I had to do an export for each other because the file was still too large and some comments werent being exported) and upload them to this site and it will parse them into your disqus repository. I don't know why they dont have a link or any mention what-so-ever on disqus.com to import.disqus.com but it works
