Basic Link Implementation - Need Help!
Pardon my ignorance. I am a new user trying to get started. I have read all the documentation however can not get a simple page to display listings. Where/how in WP do I enter the link, i.e. www.yourblog.com/idx/zip/92651 so that when I select the related page the listings are displayed? I would prefer to use links vs. shortcodes for a number of reasons. Help much appreciated.

links like all of these will automatically work if you have the plugin installed and activated correctly...
http://www.yourblog.com/idx/zip/92651
http://www.yourblog.com/idx/zip/92652
http://www.yourblog.com/idx/zip/92653
You can add any of these as a regular link on page like this:
Click here to see the best listings in my area!!
...just as you would if you were linking to any other website in a WordPress blog post.
If still confused, please respond with your site URL and I can get some better examples for you! -

Thank you for the response Robert. To be more specific, I am looking to set the links up to function like shortcode functionality. For example, if I create a shortcode for a page in the WP visual editor, when a user visits that page the listings that match the predefined criteria will display automatically. Since shortcode functionality is pretty limited (can not define multiple criteria such as a price ranges for homes in a community within a city) I am looking for a solution to that would allow me to create a page that will show niche listings without having to manually select a link.

do you mean something like this link, which shows listings in a certain price range + certain property type + in the city of Anaheim??
http://redwagonteam.com/blog/idx/city...
these links are outlined briefly here:
http://community.dsidxpress.com/diver...
you can also easily get the link structure by:
1. add the plugin's search widget to your sidebar
2. perform a search using the widget (such as city:anaheim, price low:$300k, price high:$500k)
3. copy the resulting results URL
...you can link straight to that URL from anywhere on your blog or site (and remove the search widget once you get the hang of it if you'd like). -

Thank you for sticking with this Robert. Yes, your www.redwagonteam.com example is exactly what I am trying to do. I just do not know where and how to enter this in WP as I would not be using the shortcode icons or entering the string as a link in a post. I have read all the posts on the forum as well as the online guide but can not figure this out. Can you be specific from a WP perspective on where and how to enter the idx/city/anaheim/?idx-q-PriceMax=500000&idx-q-PriceMin=300000&idx-q-PropertyTypes=516

The URL would be:
http://redwagonteam.com/idx/city/anah...
HOW or WHERE you let your visitors get to that URL is up to you...
...you could include a linked image or line of text in your post or sidebar that would take them to that URL
...you could add a button to your blog navigation that goes straight to that URL
...you could add to your site footer, an email you send people, or even put into an IM window
There is no right or wrong place to add the URL, it's just up to you and the design of your blog. -

To be more clear, this is a setup question not a design question. Here is a simple example of what I am trying to accomplish.
My blog is www.ballantynefortmill.com When the user selects Fort Mill Neighborhoods | Springfield , I would like the resulting page to automatically display all the listings in the city of Fort Mill within the Springfield community.
Where in my Wordpress page editor do I enter the URL structure that would return these results without the user having to select a link on the results page? -

You can use a link like this:
http://www.ballantynefortmill.com/idx...
...but you'll need to contact your WordPress admin if you need help as to where or how to link to that URL in your Wordpress admin. -
