I had the same problem with a DIR 655: Wireless link died one day, next day wired died as well. Tried full reset procedure: soft - hard - crash, whatever. Router stopped working.

I open a support case using dlink's web site (http://support.dlink.com/), they asked me to send the malfunctioning router, and I received a new one in about 2/3 weeks.
