Big Picture
SpaceSuit meets such an obvious need that I generally forget it isn't native to OS X.
The point of it for me is that I unconsciously recognize the organization of my workspace, and use it efficiently be reflex, rather than design. I don't think about it, I just do it. PHP goes with the clockworks, CSS goes with the Chanel suit, and photo manipulations end up over Diane Arbus, etc... It just kinda works.
The only thing missing is another obvious aspect of Spaces that Apple has neglected: have the desktop images show in the organization view. Whenever I look at the big picture, the absence of desktop images means I have to think about what all those rectangles are actuall for.

Inappropriate? That would be a cool feature but I don't think there's a way for third party programs to change what is displayed in this overview.
