Inappropriate?Hi,
I assume you meant the Dock, not the Finder.
One reason I can see for your issue is that SpaceSuit is in the Dock even when it is not active. In this case, hide won't work.
The solution is to quit SpaceSuit, remove the icon from the Dock and relaunch SpaceSuit from the Applications folder.
If SpaceSuit is already set to hide, it shouldn't show in the Dock.
Thanks,
Stephane -
Inappropriate?Never assume...
When I hit Command-Tab, it shows in the list, if it is set to load and hide, shouldn't it hide?
The program is not sitting in the dock, it does show in the dock when I run it. Either way, the program shows in the dock when running and as a program when tabbing.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?ok I see what you want to do.
The Hide functionality is only meant to hide the windows of an application, not to hide it from the Dock or cmd-tab.
To do that you can use a freeware such as Dockless or Dock Dodger ( http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx... ). -
Inappropriate?I thank you, Dock Dodger does the trick nicely.
