Payment security
A question from a new subscriber - who just happened to be in Canada and thus trusted !
There are no security assurances - beyond being SSL, which makes people hesitate to commit their credit card details.
Could we use paypal or worldpay as the gateway?

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback. Paypal is a definite possibility down the road. We've been working on some updates to the site, and one of the ones we know we really need to post soon is some info about the security of our payment processing. We want to provide some clear assurances as a sort of mini-FAQ during the checkout so everyone can see we take security seriously.
Essentially, it will explain that we take all payment details through a secure SSL connection, send the details on to our payment processor through SSL as well, and the credit card info is then erased from our system. We don't store credit card numbers anywhere on our system, only the last 4 digits for reference (so we can show "####-####-####-5432" in subscription receipts) and a confirmation number from the purchase. So even if our security is somehow compromised, there's no sensitive info being stored.
Hopefully that will help reassure customers that we're providing a safe and trustworthy service. If you have any additional suggestions on how we can improve it further, we'd love to hear them :)
