Bug: uploading new profile pic does not replace old picture in 'public profile'
I think there's a bug with uploading new profile pictures and the 'public profile'. I've uploaded a new picture, and my icon has changed, but both my 'main view' (which my fellow travellers see) and my 'public profile' are still showing the old photo.
If I go to 'edit your public profile', then uncheck one of the 'about you' boxes, the new profile pic shows up.... but only for a few minutes. If I go back to my main profile view, my icon is the new pic, but my main photo isn't; and going back to 'edit your public profile' again, the new pic has been replaced again by the old one.
I want my new pic to show across all public (and traveller) views! Help!

Inappropriate?Congratulations, you've found a bug. Because public profiles are visible to the whole internet, we cache a lot of the information on those pages to stop our database catching fire if one suddenly got a lot of traffic from somewhere.
Whenever you change something about your trips or your account, we're supposed to throw away the cached information and refresh it from the database. But changing your profile picture was one case we missed. We've fixed it in our codebase and you'll see it change when we deploy the new version to the servers this week.

Inappropriate?Oh, and for your profile specifically I've refreshed the cache, so your page is now fixed.
