Dopplr iCal plugin a possibility?
I would really like to know if we may expect some sort of an iCal plugin one day. I am having the problem that I would like to have trips from several calendars uploaded to dopplr (private and business). At the same time, the private calendar should not reside on a public server. However, the secret Dopplr URL seems only to be able to take one calendar, so I also cannot upload the private calendar to my private, secure server and have it read into Dopplr.
I have not been able to find a solution for this problem yet and was wondering if an iCal plugin (does iCal have a plugin API?) would do the trick if I was able to tick "Share this appointment on Dopplr" for each individual trip.
Using a separate dopplr calendar doesn't really do it for me as this leads to lots of redundant "trip management".

Inappropriate? As long as the calendars all have different names, you can upload a many as you like into Dopplr. The address we give you to put into iCal is just the name of a folder, not a single endpoint, you can publish all your calendars to the same URL and it'll work.

That's cool. Actually, I was completely unaware of this. Maybe you should adjust the description on the site somewhat to make that clearer? (or maybe I just overlooked it...) -
Inappropriate?Hello BijanK
Sadly, Apple iCal does not have any documented plugin APIs. The developper of the Apple Mail plugin "MailTags" is a friend of mine and he's managed, with lots of guessing, to push data into it, but it seems to be a blackbox. It's rather sad considering how useful an open calendar on the desktop would be.
