How to add a new destination?
How do I add a new destination that dopplr says doesn't exist? I'd like to add a new trip, but it keeps changing my destination to a "nearby" lake that is 50 Km away.

Thanks for your message, and apologies for not getting back to you earlier. All our destinations are pulled from the Geonames database (http://www.geonames.org), and mostly limited to those listed there as "populated place". Also, to encourage coincidences, Dopplr is built around trips to cities and towns, and not to larger definitions of place such as states, islands or countries.
However, Geonames is an open project, so you can add your destination there as a populated place yourself, and it will get updated into Dopplr.
