Some thoughts on Flickr integration
How does Flickr integration work? Dopplr found photos for one segment of my trip, but not others (it's possible that in converting to JPEG from RAW I lost some of the metadata, but that's got to be fairly common). It would be great if you could somehow 'select' the photos you'd like Dopplr to show using tags or set names in Flickr! So if I tag something 'Dopplr:Banff, Canada' then it would pick that up automagically.
I also wonder if it would be possible to link to more than one Flickr account -- both my wife and I use Flickr but we only have one Dopplr account so we can only show photos from one of the accounts.

Inappropriate? There is a tag you can add so that photos show up, no matter what their date taken is. It's a "machine tag", which means it won't show up in the sidebar on Flickr, but it will make the photos appear on Dopplr. The format is dopplr:trip=id, where the ID is the numeric part at the end of the trip's URL at Dopplr; for example, my trip to San Francisco has photos with dopplr:trip=585519.
I also run a third-party site called snaptrip which aims to help add these Dopplr machine tags to photos on Flickr. Unfortunately for your particular case, it currently only supports date taken searches, and it sounds like your photos have lost that metadata.
I'm working on adding support for tagging based on sets and (possibly) tags, and if I do I'll let you know. The idea of showing albums for a trip based on photos in multiple people's accounts is a good one, and I might see what I can do about that, too, even though as a third party site it might not be quite as handy as having it built-in.
I’m hopeful some of that helped
