Why did Dopplr find out about my trailer park trip?

I've had doppler set up to connect to by fireeagle feed for many months, and have never seen dopplr act on my frequent updates (via brightkite). All of a sudden this weekend when I updated my location to San Francisco and then to Watsonville, CA dopplr suddenly told me I had taken a trip to a trailer park in Watsonville and back.

That's the only time dopplr has ever spontaneously updated based on my fireeagle feed. Why the one-time update? I thought it was kind of cool and would like to see it happen again.
