Thanks very much for sharing your feedback with us surfslasher. The company is aware of the interest in a DotSpots plug-in for Safari and are working on it.

Users of Safari, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome, can all currently view the dots as they appear... now, without any problem.. Currently, the Firefox extension is only important for creating dots using the "highlighting the paragraph" tooltip method. But, that is only one of the three ways of creating dots.

We are working on doing a full Safari implementation (to mirror all of the same full experience currently available on Firefox) so that you can also highlight a paragraph and create a dot that way using Safari soon, but it's not yet available..

The other two ways of creating a dot are:

    1) the "Create a dot" button visible in the top left corner of the "Dots" view, (which is like the basic homepage you come to when you login), as well as

    2) direct email submission of a dot

Both of these can be done using Safari right now without any problem... but, the dots created in those two ways would be present in our system, but not yet connected to any paragraphs... in order to connect a dot to a paragraph, for the time being, the user must have the Firefox viewer... and the dot connection to a paragraph is important for your dot to get widespread distribution..

So, we hear you and are working on a Safari full implementation.

Thanks very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us,
    Team DotSpots
