flash video not playing or downloading
I uploaded a 7 MB flash video (.flv) but it only plays one second of it and I can't download it.

Sometimes our conversion process gets a little crazy. Can you delete the file and try to re-upload it?

I've done this so many times and it is completely frustrating. Many times I can upload without any problems and then the other 1/2 of the time, it just refuses to do it properly no matter how many times I've re-uploaded. -
Inappropriate?I deleted and uploaded again. The same problem, it plays for one second. Could you please download the file from http://drop.io/SisterRosettaTharpe and take a look at your conversion problem?

So, we downloaded the file and it's breaking our FLV player. It plays for about 5 seconds and then causes an error. Are you able to play the original on your system and if so, can you tell us what OS/player you're using?

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. Opened an account a month ago and added some test files, including 3 flvs. They didn't play (in the drop.io site) then, and still don't. They work locally if I download them. Like the OP, only a couple of seconds play. Also, don't normally use IE, but tried it. The player "window" sure looks ugly. See attached.

I apologize for not giving you a prompt response. We're actually making use of Getsatisfaction's new management feature and for some reason it failed to include your post in the unresolved questions.
This is in no way to pass the buck, we just need to pay closer attention and make sure this does not happen again.
Can you tell us the name of the drop that you're using where the error is occurring and also make sure that the files that aren't working properly are uploaded so we can take a look?

The drop is 24242424. The 3 right-hand videos are flvs. They all work in VLC. WMV, Real, DivX, FLVPlayer.
