Login repeatedly fails - hampering use and annoying clients!
Hi there, I've repeatedly had the problem of login failing on guest and admin passwords across all my drops at random. Sometimes re-entering the password multiple times works, sometimes going back in and setting up the passwords in settings helps, sometimes nothing works. This is seriously hamerping my use of Drop and it's beginningnot to look good with clients too. This morning my client couldn't log in but I could and this afternoon I can't log (and I haven't changed a single thing). Please advise ASAP as I have a client event in a few days! Many thanks

Inappropriate? So it's ten mins after my post of the above and I've tried logging in again using the same password and logon and without touching anything in the back office and it works fine. I can login. Very strange. The problem is not solved.

Inappropriate?Carl, it sounds like a cookie problem if you are logging in and out of a ton of drops... one thing to do is to reset your cache... it is possible/we have seen in browsers before that if you 'save the password' on a drop, then your browser will try to use your saved password in weird ways -- that said, we will look into the issue and see if we can make it more robust

Inappropriate?Hmm OK however I do always clear an autofill and re-write my password in the box. And does this have any impact on a client who has never visited Drop before and tries to login with the correct password which 'fails' on the first attempt and after multiple tries? I'd be grateful if you could go further on this issue over the next few days as I introduced Drop and a client's private Drop site today with much excitement only to find but that they failed to be able to login! Not good as all the training handouts and followup are to be stored in their Drop. Many thanks for your assistance.

Inappropriate?Carl,
If you e-mail us (contact@dropio.com) with the name of your drop we can look further into this. We're having difficulty replicating this and aren't seeing any system-wide issue relating to login failures.
Thanks!
Peter F.
