Video files are converted to .flv to be displayed in your and everyone's browser. This means if your friend on another computer doesn't have the right codec or software to play the file, provided they have Flash installed, they'll still be able to watch it in their browser.
This may or may not explain why you're not happy with the quality of the video but for us to be sure, can you email us at contact@dropio.com with the name of your drop so we can take a look?
