Size and storage limits?
Would like the ability to know how much space is left and how much is allotted to the account. Also, is there a limit for how big a single file can be?

Inappropriate?Me too. I guess this will work itself out eventually. Still nice to know. The biggest concern for me is maximum single file size.
I’m unconcerned
-
Inappropriate?I agree, I know it would probably mean redesigning the home screen/app, however I believe that is value in being able to see your space usage and max file size.
-
Inappropriate?Yes how large a single file and how to follow your usage ?
I’m very concerned and confident

Inappropriate?Right now the upload limit for a single file is 32mb. We will be updating the web interface soon to show how much file space is left on an account.

I just signed up and had this very same question. Any idea when you might add storage space information to the interface? -
Inappropriate? It sure would be nice if there was some kind of warning or indication in the app about the filesize limit. I just tried uploading a 50mb zip and all I got back was "null" -- I had to come to this thread to realize there was a 32mb limit. Why not just tell me right away? ..."Sorry, the file you just dropped is too big to upload" or something like that.
Also, 32mb seems like a really small max size. ??
I’m trying to figure out whether I can REALLY use this app.

Inappropriate?I'm experiencing the same problem. I tried to upload also a 20mb and a 30mb file (.mov and .zip) yesterday. For both I got (null) back like Ben.
I tried it 5 minutes ago, and now it works. I could upload the file (http://drp.ly/cWc4t).
Maybe the filesize check from the server is not correct?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?any idea where the files go ? and if they are viewable so you can delete them?

Inappropriate?I completely agree that 32mb seems like an awfully limited max size, and it should be clearly stated on the website. I was hoping to use this to send files to service bureaus and the likes, but 32mb is almost small enough for email. I'd gladly pay for the privilege to upload large single files, but why limit the per file size at all when there's already a limit on the account size?
As a comparison - Cloud.app also limits filesizes (50mb), but Dropbox does not. Both Cloud.app and Droplr seems perfectly targeted for my needs though, while Dropbox covers other areas.
Aside, the app looks lovely and I imagine the functionality is great for small files and Twitter images/video. But there's an opportunity here, I can't imagine that I'm alone in wanting to (temporarily) host quite large files, i.e. use an unobtrusive file transfer tool.
I can see that a twitter image generates more pageviews (ads) than a single filetransfer. But as I said, I'd gladly pay to get that ability.
I’m Iâ€TMm also trying to figure out whether I can REALLY use this app.

I would also consider paying for it. It's much more intuitive & productive then Yousendit p.e. -
