Can't Disable Search Engine Indexing
The "Disable indexing by search engines" checkbox won't stay checked.
Tried on Firefox 3 and Safari 4; OS X 10.5.

This was indeed a problem that only occurred to some users, those without a custom public profile background picture to be specific.
During the existence of this problem you could not see that the indexing was disabled but I can assure you it was, so your public profile is not indexed by any search engines.

I tried to reconstruct the problem using the same browsers, without result.
