Inappropriate?I'm using chi.mp, with my own domain as the openid. I get this error: "Authentication failed: Server denied check_authentication"
When I was approving EagleTweet I could choose which persona I wanted it to get. EagleTweet wanted to get my nickname as you can see in the picture below but it seems that there is no place where I can set it in the chi.mp service.
Could be the reason it's failing.

Hi, yeah, I just tried it with my chi.mp url and can reproduce your error. I'll both contact them and see what I can do about that problem on my side of the equation and keep you updated. Thanks for the feedback so far, I'm quite confident it should be possible to fix this rather quick! -

To be honest: I was hoping chi.mp would fix their OpenID implementation so I don't have to do anything, but this is taking too long now. I'll see how I can get around that problem for chi.mp accounts.

I would have taken the same bet, chi.mp seems to be aiming high, so I would also have thought that they would see problems with their OpenID authentication as "important to fix".

Inappropriate?I contacted chi.mp and asked the mighty Google and it seems like chi.mp has some problems with one of the standard PHP/OpenID libraries, that I use for EagleTweet, too.
They have a rather old thread about it and I'll see what they reply to my email.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem with a small OpenID provider at the.earth.li (just tried to log in with http://www.larted.org.uk/~dom/ and got the check_authentication failure).
OpenID login to other sites works.
