Research: Case study report/information available?

I am currently working on a project for a company on energy savings ideas and tips for consumers. I would like to know the details of the case study that was conducted that justifies the 25% decrease in energy consumption by using the dryer balls. Other considerations are the contents of the products, are they earth friendly and enviormentally safe? Would we be able to order these in large quantities?
