contact form
Edicy looks fabulous! I love the idea that I can fully customise layouts and stylesheets. My problem is that I really need a contact form that will email form values to me. If this is not currently available, is there a way I can customise blog comments to become private instead of published on the page (or something similar)? Thanks for help.

When you create a new page, then you can choose whether to add text areas, galleries or feedback forms, there you will be able to add a new form to a page. Currently you cannot change the area's type, once it has been selected.

Inappropriate?Thank's for your interest in Edicy,
Currently we have no feedback tool, but it is scheduled to come in near releases. As for comments, they were not intended to be used this way and such customisation cannot be fulfilled without deep system changes.
Best regards. -
Inappropriate?Hey, let me specify that we're planning to release form tool as beta in the first half of december. Please let us know if you're interested to be an beta tester of this feature :)

Inappropriate?Hey Archi. Sorry for the delay but forms feature is scheduled to be released in the mid of Jan. We're already working on it!

Inappropriate?I've seen the announcement in your blog, but I can't actually find the link or button to add a form to a page!

It would be great if the form page also include a text area above the form.
Going to work around by having a contact page with the text I want and a sub page for the form, but would be nice to have it all on one page. -
We are busy at the moment developing a solution where there can be more than one type of content in page and user can also mix them.
By the way. It's also possible now but it requires customizing your design. For example you can add a new layout where you can add more content areas. More about customizing: http://www.edicy.com/developer -
Hi Tanel. I'm using a custom layout and after posting I figured out that I could create layouts with multiple areas thanks to you guys posting dev docs and having a very clean template setup. As a developer getting access to your underlying templates is brilliant. I've now created a set of layouts that are basically copies of my common layout but with different sets of content e.g. 2 columns, 2 rows, etc to apply to pages as needed. But it is a bit of maintainance headache if I change the surrounding template as they all need updating and I couldn't think of an easy fix. Good luck figuring it out. Cheers, mark.
