Seems that there are a lot of items in season that aren't listed. Right now for my region it lists Rhubarb and asparagus... my farmers market (with local farmers) and my very own garden beds show greens of all kinds (salad & kale, chard, etc). Where is the information of what is in season from?

Inappropriate?I'm constantly looking for more accurate data about what's actually in season in particular areas. The next version of the app will allow people to help maintain this information too... so it's definitely a known issue and we're gonna do our best to create the most accurate and comprehensive collection of seasonal availability that we can. Stay tuned for an update to the app in about a week.
