It's coming in the next update! It will still require a wifi connection to make the initial connection, but will work from then on. I hope that will work for you!

This should now be available in the newest update. If you update Locavore, go to the "About" tab and manually enter your zip code. Note that you will need to be on a wifi-network for this to work.
