Sorry for such a noobie question, but I'd like to delete a project and I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks, in advance, for any hints or direct answers! Happy New Year,
Add a task to the Inbox. Go to Inbox, and double-click on the new task's Project field. Select the first Project in the drop-down list (in my case, Single Tasks). Click OK. Task remains assigned to Inbox. Selecting any other Project besides the first works just fine. My workaround has been to create a dummy "---" project as the first in the list, but I'd rather it worked correctly!
Thanks,
Carl
Back on the blog in April (http://enleitened.com/2008/04/29/what...), you mentioned a mobile version of Enleiten as being on the development roadmap. Any updates on when a mobile version (or even a mobile-friendly webpage for Windows Mobile) will be available? Any hacks/workarounds for now? Thanks!
I'm starting a new job and I want to backup my Enleiten info (projects, tasks, and ideally also journal) so that I erase everything and start with a clean slate?
Is that possible? If so, how? Thanks.
why are tasks created by Enleiten Support showing up in my Journal tab? while i get that the journal is designed to let me see what changes i've made, why can i see what changes other people are making to their accounts (refer attached picture). Does this mean that other people can see what changes i'm making to my account as well?
I'm wondering if it is possible to print out context or task lists. For example, I'd like to be able to print all tasks with a "Phone" context so I can take the list with me in the car and make calls.
Some projects can have Next Actions that are concurrent, not successive, and so I would want to mark more than one Next Action for that project. Also, I have a Project for "Single Tasks" that are not multi-step, but I can only see one Next Action at a time for all of my Single Tasks. Is there a way to mark more than one Next Action within a Project?
I'm using the Jott link. Some Jotts are projects, and some are tasks. I can't find a way to turn an Inbox item from a task into a project, without starting from scratch.
Your July 21st post says that you plan to be able to enter all data into a project window at once, rather than having to click on edit. I hope you will do same for the new task window. I have to click on edit every time to enter contexts. Thanks. (Personal Edition, ad-free). PS: On getsatisfaction.com, there are no products to select when trying to post a topic)
I love the product, it's the best GTD app I have found so far. But can the Next Action list be altered?
Firstly I know I can change the order of items in my projects, so I have sorted some vague prioritization to the project list on the left of the screen - but the Next actions ignores this and just shows in the alphabetical order. Can this be altered to list next actions according to the user-chosen project list order?
Secondly, could we have a dropdown at the top of the Next Actions where you can choose a group and only see next actions in that groups projects? This would help to clarify my thinking when I want to focus on different groups.
I know I could use Contexts but as that just lists all actions it can feel overwhelming, rather than next actions in projects with the chosen context.
On the Checklist page, when I click "Create a new template" the New Template editor displays the Loading message and hangs. I have a paid (Personal) account. Please advise. Thanks.
I find it slightly irritating that I have to log in every time I visit the site. Many sites have a checkbox named "Keep me signed in". Example: https://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?....
My boss is seeing tasks assigned to me in his Next Actions folder. Why? They were created by me, owned by me, although part of a group project. He has way too much information in his Next Actions folder now that he does not need to act on. Help!
I have a lot of projects that are sub-projects of other projects; which are themselves projects of others. i.e. (bottom-up): submit loan documents to xyz bank >> loan >> remodel house >> sell House >> Move to Texas
