Are there drivers for Intel-based Macs?
I haven't been able to get this new scanner to work on my machine and it looks like it is because the driver is designed for older Macs. The scanner has worked on a PC so I know the equipment to be good, it seems that I am having a software problem. Please help?

Inappropriate?Looks like your problem's solved, but I just thought I'd add my experience to the discussion ....
I have a MacBook running 10.4.10 and an Epson Stylus R210 Photo.
I successfully downloaded the driver from the Epson site and can print OK. However, the photo management software (PhotoQuicker) frequently crashes. Makes it tough to stay efficient.
Is this because the software hasn't been updated for the Intel machines?

Latest driver for Mac OS 10.5 installed.
Same result with Epson Scan or Vuescan,
red LED (lamp) blinking nearly all the time.

Inappropriate?That looks like it could be a hardware issue, particularly if the fault happens at the same part of the image each time. You could test with another computer/OS if you have one handy. How long have you had this scanner?
