How can I clear prev errors, or delete a defunct site from the list?
How do you clear past errors from the error list for a site?
How can I remove a website that I no longer want to track or receive reporting on in email?

Hey SoulMedic - sorry for the late reply....we've been busy trying to get out of beta! Your question is an important point that we have no yet addressed in the development of the product and the answer is you can't.
However it will be addressed when we get out of our "quiet" period. Thanks so much for your feedback. How has the product been working for you otherwiser?

Inappropriate? My apologies for not getting back sooner as well, working on multiple projects, and was testing some of the features of Errorlytics.
I like the idea and concept, although I find that capabilities of control for a site are limited once created. I'd like to be able to have an ignore option for certain errors, especially while a site is in a build phase, perhaps a simple option for certain errors to appear in the email updates. While I check the email updates, since they contain all errors, spotting the new errors, or errors that have been updated is almost impossible. Perhaps a couple check boxes for errors one for ignoring this error in future email updates, by which it excludes it from being sent in the email list..and another where I can delete that error from the list...again, while a site is in build phase some of the errors may be meaningless until further down the road...so a checkbox that will remove it from the list or send it to an 'Error Archive' perhaps would be beneficial....hiding it from the view of the dashboard or daily emails.
One of my test sites has 15 pages of errors, again being a test site, this is to be expected, especially since it is for testing plugins, and new concepts in design...but noticing the new errors can be tricky. Perhaps a 'New' Flag for the most current errors that were reported within a certain time period that could be set in the Profile. Say, flag each day, last 5 days, last 10 days as 'New'.
I would like to play with the features a bit more, and incorporate a few other sites, but as I can't delete a site now, I'm weary of adding any more sites.
Also adding a function to not show errors for a particular site would be good. I think under the Websites option there should be some specific settings for reporting of that site...as for certain sites, I might like to keep a much closer eye on than others. At the moment the only option is to either receive a daily email update for the whole account...or not. I think this feature needs to be site specific and not account specific as it is now.
I look forward to new enhancements, and I do check, in hopes that this project continues development.
Thank you.
Andres.

Inappropriate? For the record, you may now delete websites. This clears out EVERYTHING for a website, so use with caution. Thanks for the feedback!

Inappropriate?Awsome!
Glad to see this project is still being worked on, I was getting a little weary.
No worries. I've also noticed a few other changes, such as disabling a site without actually removing it. Does this remove it from notification emails?
I hope that is a new function, and not just something that I overlooked previously.
Also the ability to hide certain errors from the dashboard I believe is new, although it is a bit tedious, hiding them one by one is taking me quite a bit of time. Although I like the fact that it continues to get stats on them even after hiding. Once I hide it from the dashboard, when I go to the error list for the site, I can't tell if that error is hidden or not, and since it isn't a clickable link I haven't found how to get back to the page that gives the hide/unhide function. So once I hide the error from dashboard, how do I unhide it again at a later time?
Did I missing something?
Once the error is hidden how do I access the error again to unhide if it doesn't show up in the dashboard list?
Can we incorporate a 'Hide All' option?
Perhaps a check box instead of a link after each error and a 'Hide Checked' option at the top or bottom of list.
I'll play with it a bit more to see what other features have been changed.
Do you have a Changelog page where I can check for latest changes in site functionality?
I haven't gone through the blog yet, so I may be one step behind you, but as you release new changes could you post a blog entry with the changelog please? A one stop view of new features or capabilities would be helpful.
Thank you for adding the delete site function!
Once again, great concept, great implementation, even if still in the works.
I'd still like to be able to clear previous errors from the list, without having to delete or disable the site. For example as I take care of an error, I can simply remove it from the list, whether a rule was established or not.
Respectfully,
Andres

Inappropriate? Thanks for your interest in Errorlytics. We really appreciate the input. Keep it comming. I'm going to try my best to address all of your questions, but if I miss anything, let me know.
It's been a little while since our last release but we have been busy at working adding features, tuning the database, and more. We just launched what we consider to be v1.0 Beta of the tool and it incorporates much of the changes that you had suggested.
We plan on making smaller more frequent releases in the future. We are using Errorlytics on several high revenue production sites ourselves. So have no fear about it disappearing.
The disabling of a site was recently added. You can now disable sites and rules without deleting them.
We're still ironing out the kinks on the Hide/Ignore functionality. You may find it more useful to simply create a 404 rule with a regex to handle multiple similar errors.
There is the ability to unhide errors but currently it's not easily accessible. This is something that we will fix.
We do not currently have a changelog page that I'm aware of. But that is a pretty good idea. Perhaps we should just add it as a standard feature of the blog.
We're also just about to launch a fix which should mark all errors as handled and remove them from the dashboard if you create a rule that matches multiple unhanded errors. This sort of thing will be very handy when writing regex rules to handle multiple errors.
Really, once again, thanks for using the tool, and keep the input commin!
