Is ESPN America dead? If so why not tell the subscribers...

I have been a subscriber to firstly NASN and now ESPN America. Apparently the Worldwide Leader in Sports is ditching US Sports for football (soccer) in the UK, according to the media. I have been a subscriber since the channel started and have heard nothing. They truly are an amateur outfit, worse than Setanta.
