The etyBlu headset contains two microphones. One is located internally at the end of the earpiece; the other, a noise-canceling mic, is located in the BLUmaxxTM boom. The combination of an in-ear noise-isolating earphone and a boom mic provides exceptional sound quality and clear communication at both ends of the conversation.
Lots of static noise with two separate Etyblu headsets! This is heard on my end, but not particularly by the person I'm talking to. Holding my phone very close to the headset (6") helps, but that's rediculous! Also, the large eartip is not large enough to get a good seal. I've used an ERP-4P for years and its eartips (white) fit fine and are large enough.
Hey, I just bought and EtyBlu at MacWorld, and I hear a huge amount of static. My callers say I sound fine. I loved my ETY.COM corded headset, but it broke. I thought I would take the opportunity to upgrade to Bluetooth, but now I wish I had stuck with the cord.
