Since you buried the discussion I originally
responded to I'm unsure as to how to reply to this anymore, so I've created a new topic. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to you. It's been a hectic week, and I've finally gotten the time to do what you asked of me.
There are a few hidden files in the folders, hidden files the Finder places there such as .DS_Store. I'd prefer it not put any of those files there, and I'm unsure if that's something you all can solve within ExpanDrive or not as it tends to be an annoying Finder thing.
I created a log file, but I need the email address you'd like me to send it to or other preferred method of delivery. I started the log immediately before I mounted the SFTP drive, and the log ends when everything stops working after I start a transfer of a 10MB file to my SFTP server. The log doesn't display the error messages the Finder provides me, so I will provide them here.
When Finder errors out after the transfer's hanging for 2 minutes it displays this:
The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)
In addition to that TextMate suddenly doesn't have a clue as to where the files are and have turned the filenames in the drawer red. If I close that project and drag the folder over again to TextMate it brings up this error:
The application "TextMate" cannot be launched. -120
None of the files on that mounted drive at that time can be opened or edited without erroring. ExpanDrive still shows it as mounted, and if I disconnect and reconnect the drive everything works okay (although slowly like I mentioned before) until I attempt again to transfer large files.
This only discusses some of the problems I mentioned in my response in the old topic. The application's slowness seems to be almost everywhere, although it appears from your responses to everyone you think it might have its roots in listing files. Hopefully you may be able to figure out what's going wrong from the log I can send you.
Thanks for your replies, and again I'm sorry for taking so long to respond.
