Inappropriate?I can't wait to get it properly licensed. I think it has something to do with expanidrive 1.0 still hanging around. Look forward to the help.
I’m Can't wait to try out licensed S3 :)

Inappropriate?Another question about upgrading. Do you have to reinstall /usr/bin/expan?

Inappropriate?I downloaded V2.0, killed the old instance of the app, installed by dragging into Applications and then ran it.
It now reports V2.0.0 when I check "About ExpanDrive" and reports the app as being registered when I look within preferences. Apparently it's a transparent update if you've purchased in the last 60 days.

Inappropriate? That did not work for me. I downloaded 2.0, put my old Expandrive app into the trash and slipped in the new one. Launched it - and it's in demo mode. I went back and found my 1.x license, but when I double-clicked it I got an error message from Expandrive informing me that my license is only good for 1.x.
I purchased it on March 4, so I'm still a couple of weeks shy of 60 days...

Inappropriate?I overwrote the version 1.3 executable when I installed it into Applications (as opposed to dragging 1.3 to the trash first). Perhaps this made a difference.
Just a thought, for what it's worth: what about clearing V2.0 from Applications, restoring 1.3 from the trash and then installing V2.0 overtop?
I don't know if the prefs will still be in place or if there is other 'magic' that goes on the first time you run it but it might be worth a try. -
Inappropriate?Just tried that...moved 2.0 out of my Apps folder, put the original one back in (which was in my trash), then moved 2.0 back in...got the warning about replacing an older version, said okay. Launched the app...and now, instead of a 60 day trial, which is what I had the first time, I only have a 30 day trial. Again I tried to use my license, and it didn't work.
Thanks for the tip, but so far we're at 1 step forward, 2 steps back...
Hopefully the kind folks at Expandrive will clear this up shortly...

Inappropriate?Yeah, sorry I couldn't help more. I wish you the best of luck.

Inappropriate?I have exactly the same problem. Tried the suggestions with no result.

Inappropriate?Yeah No Luck for me either.
-
Inappropriate? If you've purchased in the past 60 days, re-download your license key - you'll find that it has been upgraded to a v2 license.
To install it, double click - and overwrite the previous license.
